Voordelen van het product
Een keuze aan multi-lumen CVC's ontworpen en aangepast aan de behoeften van de pediatrische patiënt op basis van leeftijd, lengte en gewicht:
- 2 of 3 lumen
- diameters: 3, 4,5 en 5,5 Fr
- lengtes: 6 tot 30 cm.
Een keuze uit polyurethaan multilumen CVC volgens patiëntrisico:
- multicath: standaard PUR voor patiënten met een laag risico
- multistar: antimicrobiële technologie met rifampicine en miconazol voor patiënten met een hoog risico
Componenten ontworpen voor de veiligheid van pediatrische patiënten:
- een keuze uit introducers: hyper echogene naald of korte I.V canule
- zeer knikbestendige, flexibele en met dubbel uiteinde (J en rechte) nitinol voerdraad gecoat met teflon voor ultralage weerstand
Beschrijving
Paediatric double-lumen central venous catheter impregnated with antibiotics.Antimicrobial catheter impregnated with Rifampicin and Miconazole (for further information on Multistar see page 64). Code 6203: centimetre markings from 5 to 12 cm, (code 6202: no markings).
The user can choose from 2 types of introducer, i.e. needle or I.V. cannula.
The diameter of the distal lumen is the same as that of the proximal lumen: 2 x 20G.
Kink-resistant Nitinol “J” guidewire.

- 1 double-lumen catheter totally radiopaque
- 1 introducer needle (Ext. Ø 0.8 mm – 21G -Length 40 mm)
- 1 short I.V. cannula 22G
- 1 “J” guidewire (Length 40 cm - Ø 0.46 mm)
- 2 dilators (Length 38 mm and 62 mm)
- 1 secondary fixation wing
- 2 injection caps
- 1 scalpel
- 1 5 ml syringe
