Description
ENFit syringes for enteral nutrition, which connect with ENFit feeding tubes or with any device featuring a male ENFit connection.4 volumes are available: 10ml, 20ml, 60ml and 100ml.
Each syringe is fitted with a purple-coloured plunger, enabling instant identification for enteral use.
The ENFit connection is offset for the 10ml (code 1015.107), 20ml (code 1015.207) and 60ml syringes (code 1015.607) and is centred for the 100ml syringe (code 1015.1007).
The graduation is every 0.5ml for the 10ml (code 1015.107) and 20ml syringes (code 1015.207), every 1ml for the 60ml syringe (code 1015.607) and every 2ml for the 100ml syringe (code 1015.1007).
For reminder, the “Nutrifit” brand of Vygon specifies products, which are fitted with an ENFit connection compliant with the ISO 80369-3 standard. Consequently, accidental misconnections between devices intended for enteral nutrition and devices intended for other clinical applications (venous access, spinal, epidural, vesical, respiratory…) are mitigated and the right administration route is respected.
The Nutrifit syringes are also available with a cap integrated in the blister (see technical files codes 1015.1071, 1015.2071 and 1015.6071.
Syringes with lower volumes (1ml, 2.5ml, 5ml) are available with an “ENFit Low dose Tip” connection (see technical files 1015.018, 1015.028, 1015.058).

Nutrifit syringes have not been tested when freezing. The minimum tested is 4°C. At -25°C, the material may break and, obviously, the performance of the rubber gasket may be compromised.
