Techniplex

Description

Techniplex is a set that allows nerve localization using a neurostimulation needle and then the introduction of the catheter through the needle.

This set is intended for continuous plexus and peripheral nerve blocks.

Introduction of the peri-nervous catheter through a Locoplex type needle with a 17° bevel, 30°short bevel or Tuohy bevel needle.

The Techniplex set includes:

•  a Locoplex type needle with centimetric marking and insulating coating, only the bevel is conductive. This needle includes an electric cord ending in a female plug and a 50cm long transparent extension line (dead volume: 1ml). It is available either with a 30° bevel (codes 5195.xx3 and 5195.xx31), or with a Tuohy bevel (code 5195.xx6), or with a 17° bevel (code 5195.xx).
•  a transparent PEBA (polyether blockamide) catheter tube with X.R.O line, with an Easy-lock connector. This catheter has a diameter of 0.45 x 0.85 mm and a length of 50cm. 

Catheters codes 5195.xx31 and 5195.xx6 are delivered WITH Teflon-coated stainless steel STYLET. They have a closed end with 3 side ports and a flexible distal tip.

Catheters codes 5195.xx and 5195.xx3 are delivered WITHOUT STYLET. They have an open distal end (without side ports). 

Marking: black mark on the tip to check that the entire catheter has been removed. Centimetric graduations from 1 to 20 cm, with a wider mark indicating the crossing of the bevel of the needle. It is presented in a Wishbone-type catheter pusher and protected by a plastic sheath.

•  a 10ml plastic Luer-lock syringe,
•  a 0.2 µm flat anti-bacterial filter,
•  a transparent adhesive dressing (polyurethane) Dermafilm 10 x 15 cm code 38.15.10,
•  1 green label " Peripheral nerve block ".
