Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter for neonates and babies: parenteral nutrition, drug administration.
Description
Peripherally inserted central venous catheter in silicone (1.9Fr/24G) for medium and long term access (parenteral nutrition, administration of medication) in premature babies and neonates. Catheter with fixation wings and integrated silicone extension tube (4cm long). Markings every centimetre and black mark at the distal end to ensure that the entire catheter has been withdrawn.Epicutaneo 2 is inserted with a peelable short I.V. cannula Microflash type or a breakaway needle totally withdrawn after catheter placement.
