Indicatie
Leader-Cath + is a central venous catheter inserted by Seldinger technique in the jugular veins (internal or external) or subclavian veins. It allows:
- the infusion of all types of IV solutions
- Drug administrations
- Fluid loading
- transfusion of blood or blood products
- blood samplings
- central venous pressure measurements…

• No change in placement technique.
Product identical to catheters described above, but introducer needle has a valve to provide maximum protection against blood loss during venipuncture. Ergonomic guidewire advancer detects any resistance to guidewire advancement. Supplied with a needle adaptor for use with a primed extension and a pressure transducer to confirm venous placement. Tray presentation with label for traceability.
